One of my longest running stockists is @work gallery in Pimlico and this year they are celebrating their 25th anniversary. Traditionally a silver anniversary they have turned that tradition on its head with a series of recycled jewellery exhibitions throughout 2023. It culminated in a catwalk event for which I made 5 new pieces out of offcuts and scrap Formica and wood. Scrap Merchants Live took place at The Ivy House pub in Nunhead. 22 models modelled 185 pieces of jewellery by 40 designers during 5 live acts. It was a brilliant evening.
