In this new series I am sharing some of my collections of small objects. This month it is rulers, or maybe I should say measuring devices as they are not all strictly rulers. These are my favourites, made from metal and/or wood, from small to very large! The colourfulHAY ones were a gift from another student when I did a class at Morley College - they reminded her of my work which was a lovely compliment. I reach for a ruler many times a day so it's an essential object as well as a beautiful object.
