We visited Eltham Palace on a very sunny Saturday. I'd been wanting to visit for ages having seen images online. It didn't disappoint! It's an art deco mansion built in 1936 next to the medieval Great Hall of Eltham Palace by Stephen and Virginia Courtauld.

The circular entrance hall with marquetry.

A close up of the beautiful marquetry.

Lots of colour in the bathrooms.

The dining room

An amazing green and cream corridor - it would have been great to see the areas that would have been used by their staff.

The 1470s Great Hall as seen from the balcony.

Approaching Eltham Palace from the bridge.

A tunnel in the gardens. The gardens were very beautiful in themselves however I was less interested in them than the house so didn't take many photos.
