Sunday 21st June was the last day of Cockpit Festival. The grand finale at 5.30pm was the official deadline and I didn’t make it but that’s ok! On the last day I concentrated on all the metal work; soldering, filing, oxidising etc. By 5.30pm I had 3 pairs of earrings and by 9.45pm I had 12.5 pairs of finished earrings! I decided to stop then as the last 2.5 pairs needed a bit of thought and time - I didn’t want to rush and make mistakes. I was able to finish the last pairs on Wednesday and it felt so good to complete the project.
