Final preparations - solo show

With less than 3 days to go I thought I would share some of my final preparations. Over the last few days I have been finishing my jewellery and preparing the display. There have been so many things to think about and I have really enjoyed the process - here are some photos I have taken along the way: Earlier this month I went to Proper Old and tested out the large paper version of a brooch in the window. We liked this so I have made two more to hang with it.

I have been taking lots of photos of my jewellery for publicity, for my website and as a record.

This was an early display test. The paper is cut to the same size as the table that will be in the shop window.

Display stands I have made for dangly earrings.

Some wooden blocks kindly given to me at the Oak Joinery. Thank you to Chris for sanding them smooth :-)

Painting blocks!

Decisions decisions! What painted blocks or grey painted blocks, white paper or tracing the show you will see what I went for!

Nick at Proper Old got the exhibition into 4 different listings including the Evening standard!

So the next photos I post will be of the exhibition set up and private view - time has flown by! It would be lovely to see you on Thursday 6pm - 8.30pm. There will be wine, nibbles and 10% off all sales on the night. I hope to see you there!
