M.E.G.A set-up

This week just gone I was in Munich with Dialogue Collective. We put on an exhibition called M.E.G.A (Make Earth Great Again) at the foundry as part of Munich Jewellery Week. Our theme was climate change and we all made different work in response to this. These photos show the set up of the exhibition:

And at night - we had an amazing soundtrack by Eric Busnel and plants, moss and candles around the room creating a brilliant atmosphere.

Christmas open studios

My first open studios at Cockpit Arts took place at the beginning of the month. It felt a little strange to be packing away my tools having only recently set up my new space! It was a lovely weekend chatting to visitors, getting to know other makers and generally feeling festive.

COSMIMA

COSMIMA is a jewellery collective of 5 makers (Daphne Krinos, Louise O’Neill, Chris Carpenter, Hidemi Asano and Ulla Hornfeldt) who have been exhibiting together for 14 years. Each year they have a November show in Clerkenwell and invite 4 guest makers, this year they were Adi Toch, Simone ten Hompel, Isabelle Busnel and me! It was a wonderful weekend…

Lustre

At the beginning of November I headed up to Nottingham to exhibit at Lustre. Lakeside Arts is a great venue within Nottingham University campus. We had lovely weather and it was great to get out of London and try a new event.

My stand at Lustre - the show is in multiple rooms across two buildings and I was in the theatre - a little darker than expected!

And that’s it. Quite a short show compared to others I have done. Just Friday night, Saturday and Sunday.
