Finding inspiration

I had a lovely day in London with my mum that involved lots of museums, parks and cakes. It was great to explore a small part of London on foot and find things to see serendipitously…

Breathing Colour

I have finally visited the new Design Museum in Kensington! Breathing Colour by Hella Jongerius was the exhibition that got me there.

“Breathing Colour is an installation based exhibition that reveals the full potential of colour, and how colours breathe with light. Through a series of phenomenological studies and experiences, the exhibition makes us question colour, one of the most elemental aspects of design.”

New Formica colours

I am really excited to say I have invested in 5 new Formica colours! They are subtler colours which will work well on their own and in combination with the brighter colours I already have. I had to cut up the sheets to a more manageable size:
