Crafts Council Directory Sample

Design Days Dubai is currently on and technically I have a small piece of work on show! The Crafts Council have taken 11 UK based makers to the event and also a stand promoting their Directory, and the latter is where my work comes in.  Earlier this year the Crafts Council did a call out for samples of work to be included on a purpose built stand, the aim of which is to promote the talent and breadth of crafts represented on the Directory – so I sent in a piece and I’m delighted it was selected. February Brooch

I forgot to post on my blog that my February brooch is up! I was quite thankful for the leap year and the extra day as I decided to make a second brooch having decided that my first brooch, whilst lovely, wasn’t quite substantial enough! All the photos and further explanations can be found here.
